At Wetsuit Specialty Shop, we stand behind the quality of our water sports gear. Whether you’re returning kids’ rash guards or exchanging a men’s winter wetsuit, our process is designed to be as smooth as your next surf session.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of receiving your order. All returned items must be:

  • In original condition with tags attached
  • Unworn and unwashed
  • In original packaging with all accessories

Important Exceptions

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Neoprene Hoodies & Sweats (for hygiene reasons)
  • Ponchos/Changing Robes (considered personal care items)
  • Wetsuit Accessories (for safety and hygiene reasons)
  • Any items marked as “Final Sale”

How to Return an Item

Step 1: Submit Your Return Request

For exchanges, please specify your preferred size/color.

Please provide return instructions at your earliest convenience.

Step 2: Wait for Approval

Our team will respond within 1-2 business days with:

  • Return authorization
  • Shipping instructions
  • Return address (6391 West 60th Avenue, Arvada, CO 80003)

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Package your item securely and include:

  • The original packing slip
  • A copy of your return authorization email

We recommend using a trackable shipping method as you’re responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

Exchange Process

For size exchanges on wetsuits or rash guards:

  1. Follow the standard return process above
  2. Clearly indicate your desired replacement size/color
  3. We’ll ship your new item once we receive the original

Expedited exchange shipping is available for an additional fee.

Refund Information

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Processing Time: 3-5 business days
  • Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)
  • Timeline:
    • Credit Cards: 5-10 business days after processing
    • PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your wetsuit or gear arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Include photos of the damage/defect
  3. We’ll arrange a free return and expedite your replacement
